Was worried that the new purchase wouldn't fit under Cookham Lock Cut bridge. Locky said we had 12'7" fortunately we are only 12'6" and 7/8... As it turns out, it was a breeze, just left with a minor canopy scuff, and sunburn!

Wow that's a brilliant idea, I can't believe I didn't think of it! That would take the fun out of it anyway, so arch down and highest part of the canopy up giving us a true picture as to whether she will pass under. Such fun!

Well done. We went through that (will it, wont it moment) earlier this season just after the flooding. I have since stripped off bits and have lots of room! Now the river is your oyster!

Just goes to confirm what everyone kno about Thames boaters....You could get the Queen Mary under there.........

This on the other hand is really how its done and Cannon Bridge at Tonbridge is about 50 old english feet wide not some weedy footbridge.
