No sailing today.

Cannot help wondering if there is a mad windsurfer out there somewhere. I do recall years ago a massive storm in the far east prompting a call from the CG asking windsurfers not to go out, as they had enough to worry about.
I know that when some of our members were younger there were a lot of top windsurfers who would be quite happy in 35+kts
I used to man the safety boat for them & that was dodgy enough.

Looked outside, contemplated testing the storm sails, then told myself not to be stupid so took the kids to the cinema instead

17th November . Glorious last moments of the season before I gybed in order to fill the cockpit with sunshine and warm up Mrs.FWD. Was ordered to gybe is an alternative version, only marginally less accurate. She was cold. But the steely sea and sunshine was worth it.
