What is this nation coming to?
Heard on the radio today that twenty million pounds have been spent by the British public, on hot water bottles, tins of soup, woolly jumpers, extra provisions etc. etc.
Because we have got a cold spell coming......................................................WHAT??????
At the most we will get no more than a few inches, there is a team of gritters on standby up and down the country, it will cause a minor inconveniance to our daily routines, it is going to be a bit of an embuggerance and nothing more!!!.
(Elderly and infirm excused from this rant btw)
