Sniping Trolls

Everything is wrong with McD's.

There's not much wrong with a Signature "Spicy" or a Big Mac served with an Orange Juice.
It has kept me going in situations / countries where the alternative would have been something "local", and not in a good way.

WOW!
I've just read this whole thread from start to finish.
I'd just like to say that superheat gave me the finest and very comprehensive boat buying advice you could possibly ask for via some pm's. It would have taken me a week to type what he sent me.
I have also noticed volvopaul has been conspicuous by his absence for a while. Lovely fella who serviced my engine and outdrive on a particularly miserable day back in May. And he unwittingly left me a nice Henry Loyd beanie which I'm sure he misses.
There are many other folks that have helped me on this forum and it would take to long to mention them all but I'm sure they know who they are. Yes, I have had a couple of keyboard warrior replies but they were ironed out quite quickly. I don't post very often and its usually questions rather than answers. I cant wait for the day when I am more experienced and can help somebody out with some sound advice, cos I'm a nice bloke. It's very hard when you can't see someone in front of you, to know if they are really annoyed with what you may be posting. I just take it all as banter and I find it really interesting and at times quite funny when the more seasoned pros have a bit of a tiff and difference of opinion. Its part of the forum I think and it sort of sets a competitive atmosphere. I don't think the forum is toxic, I think its a great place. We should all remember that good advice is always good but the correct and nice delivery of that advice makes it even better.
We all new nothing as infants and we will, without exception, all be learning until we check out of this world.
I don't want to see anybody leave the forum. It's a good place.

Not so sure, met a bloke in N Wales who insisted we went out on his RIB in the middle of January. Bloody cold it was. Not sure I can ever forgive him :):encouragement:

Nice words Kwacker, thanks:encouragement:

We've gone from a I'm going to flounce unless...., to gourmet for the masses, to data privacy and ownership, to group hugs and kisses. You're all clearly soft, and a little bit clingy.

It's nice to be nice:love_heart::love_heart:
