snapdragon 26 road transport

hi can anybody help me after lifting my snapdragon in the water at walton and sailing it down to faversham i have trapped a nerve in my neck and have decided to transport the boat the rest of the way to cornwall by road .I have found a boat transporter who will do it for £400 but he needs to know the width of the bilgekeels to fit his trailer.Does anybody out there know

Ouch - not what you want when sailing. Hope it soon gets untrapped.

When I sold my Snappie 26 a couple of years ago the buyer asked me that question. From memory it was about 5'6" - certainly less than 6'.

There is a Snap dragon right next to me in the yard, I can measure it tomorrow.
Is it the distance the keels are apart you need to know?

hi thanks for picking up on my question and yes the exact outside measurement would be ideal as the transporter wants to know if the bilges will fit between his trailer wheel archs yours dom
