Smooth anti fouling

[ QUOTE ]
What do you use the boat for?

Keeping his feet dry??

Yer, sorry about the shorthand. When I was racing we spent hours putting on a/f and rubbing it back to a really smooth finish, all for the sake of an extra 0.05 of a knot. But for cruising it's hardly worthwhile, and a roller finish is fine, unless you want to get to the chip shop 30 secs before anyone else.

I believe my anti foul had been spray painted by the previous owner. Was silky smooth paint - but horribly fouled !

Paid somebody to do this year, and they used rollers - not so smooth but great to have somebody else do the hard work. (Calculated that with marina fees so high, cheaper to pay someone to do and launch a week or so earlier)
