Can I just give a very big endorsement to this anti-foul, as entirely a user and with absolutely no interest in the company or selling marine products. I used the paint for the first time just over two years ago as I like to work to a two yearly cycle. The results have been as good as Internation Micron Plus which I have always used peviously, but with the advantage of going on much more easily and with a significant cost saving. After just over two years there was almost no hard fouling at all, and some light slime fouling which would have been easily removed if I had got around to putting on the suba gear this time around. This is a two coat application regime with a third coat on the usual areas.

In short a really good product with no reservations.

Would you say that it has outperformed Micron plus over the 2 year cycle?

So many of us just apply one coat and blast it off at the end of the season. the Micron plus datasheet says that it is a 1 season coating.

Many thanks in advance

Micron Plus is advertised as a two year cycle product, as is Cupro (which I think may even be advertised now as a 3 year product). I think Cupro has performed about the same, maybe a margin better given that I gave the Micron on previous occasions an underwater polish midway. To be fair in my case with both, really very little fouling after two years, and fouling that could have been easily removed with an underwater rub. Its the barnacles and tube worms that are really annoying and almost none with either - perhaps a dozen hanging on over a 50 foot yacht.

I am on my second season with Cupro and the results have been great, we have our boat in Portsmouth which have very high fouling. I had tried just about all the brands at one time or other but normally would either have to have a mid season scrub or when we haul out in October would have at least a beard

We have used Cupro for the last two years and we have just been hauled out this year and all we had was slime

I am a convert and will apply again this winter

Rgds Mike
