Smev oven /grill Sealne360/f36-37

I am having problems with the oven door not closing at the top its the type that pulls down to open. The seal is ok in fact the oven has not been used much.I have tried removing the door to see if there is any adjustment with no luck.There is no actual catch to keep it closed just spring loaded hinges.Its a bit dangerous as there is wood above the door that is getting very hot.Any one had the same problem?

Have you checked the gutter at the bottom hasnt got a chip/sausage in it ?

Its very easy to take out, 8 screws on the front and it will be on a long hose, perhaps 12v supply to disconnect if it has lights and auto ignition.

when grilling there is a thin metal plate you pull out to stop heat damaging the top, presume you have checked that is all the way in.

There is no food stopping it closing, as regards the thin metal plate,I havn't noticed it being there,I will check it out next time I use it. Thanks.

I suspect its the grill guard plate then, good luck !

I have a white one spare and boxed in the loft , it has a light that illuminates when its on and auto ignition.
I thought it was great but the wife wanted stainless so out it came

Open to offers if you cant get yours fixed.
