Smashed Windscreen

Hi
Had a call from the Marina on Sunday saying that the windscreen on my Sealine S28 was smashed
They have told me there was no sign of anything that could have caused the damage and are blaming it on the cold conditions as another boat in the marina has suffered the same.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Where is the best place to acquire a new screen? I assume Autoglass do not do screens for boats

Trend Marine are the guys for your boat, however, just pray that they have not thrown away the jigs/templates.
recently i had to order a screen for an S37, Trend had to remake patterns & jigs, new screen cost in the excess of £7000.00 yes 7 grand. just be aware.

if no luck with Sealine, give Seabridge Marine a call.

Boats like the Sealine 46 are really going to struggle. Trend cannot supply the glass. It is too big for their furnaces. Currently supplied by a small Italian manufacturer, who is close to going bust!
