Thses taps are about £70.00 to £90.00 each but I cab get then from a Bathroom specialist for bout £20.00 each. They look identical.
Any idea if they should fit on the boat?
Thanks

"These taps " Which taps are these

The difference may be that taps for boat , caravan, RV etc are likly to have hose tails while taps for bathrooms will have connections to suit domestic plumbing. Should be simple to fit hose tails to them though.

Have you looked at what's available for caravans and RVs ?

check the connections to your existing taps. They'll almost certainly be simple monobloc taps threaded with either 10mm or 12mm holes for flexible tails between the end of the pipe work and the tap. Buy a tap which matches the existing hose tails and fit it. I've done that on two of the taps on my boat, simple job, takes a few minutes of contortions due to lack of space but that's it. I looked at specialist taps from camping and caravaning people, which cost mega bucks before realising that what was actually fitted was standard domestic plumbing components.

Replaced my original taps after 25 years with a monobloc bathroom tap. The original model still retails at £100; the monobloc, which is a much easier to operate single lever and is much more modern/stylish depending on your taste, cost £18 delivered. I bought a male/male converter to go from the tap tail size to the original hose size for £2 each. Job done. Has worked perfectly. The shower fitting is also a much better design than the expensive marine version.

My galley and heads taps came from Lidl. Both have shower hoses that pull out of the nozzle housing. They look identical and have completely different installation systems, one of which is almost impossible to install and I will strangle the idiot who designed it if I ever meet him.
I am an Engineer, he clearly isn't!! ??
