Second the Hunter Delta, simple and sails exceptionaly well.
This is a great suggestion at the smaller end of your stated size range - Red Fox 200eA different one - Red Fox, twin lifting leeboards, frees up space in the cabin.
Wouldn't that have the same issues as the Tonic re. Headlining I think they are just variations on theme. Not sure they are not out of the same molds.First 235
I really like the MG Spring, but they appear to be like Hen’s teeth!I'm a little out of touch with 'covid-era' prices but Hunter Horizon 26 usually creeps in to that price range..
As a slightly left-field choice, what about one of my personal favourites, an MG Spring 25?
The First 235 is a totally different boat to the Jeanneau Tonic. Designed by Finot and based on a early mini transat design. There is in indeed headlining, but not everywhere. Just under the decks and either side of the companionway. Overhead is a fibreglass liner. The boat otherwise fits the brief very well - particularly from the sailing point of view. It has a long waterline for it’s length and plenty of sail area so it’s very quick.Wouldn't that have the same issues as the Tonic re. Headlining I think they are just variations on theme.
