Slow tap water flow

Hi All

The rate of water coming out of our tap is painfully slow


While this is the flow directly from the tank


At this point this pipe is connect to a smaller pipe with solid insert and the smaller pipe connects to the electric pump

I want to improve the flow rate but the larger pipe from the tank is to large to connect directly to the pump. So are the better pumps out there which will fit to the large pipe and if yes can someone suggest a good one please

I’m not sure about your arrangement, but is there a filter in the tap perhaps, or is its innards bunged up? I would expect the flow to be roughly the same with or without the tap.

The tap is new, I changed it just in case that was the cause

The pump is rated at 6ltr/min which is rather low. Especially if it has to lift the water to the tap.

Good point, I will start looking round for a replacement,
