It should be fairly easy (via a session variable) to ensure that the news pages dont run 'out of' a YBW.com context. Indeed the session variable could be used to select which browser style is wanted. I see your issue with ad revenues - but for the mobile users the ad's are almost certainly irrelevant.

The other approach of course is to add value specifically for mobile users, and maybe even charge a premium. Any such premium would likely be LESS than the cost of inflated GSM/Iridium call charges. Now, theres a thought!
