I now have some excellent hard wood for my new locker lids. They lie on top of a fibreglass base with a gutter all round.
I do most of my sitting on these as they are next to the tiller.
I have now suddenly realised that they need to be sloping so that water will not run off and leave a pool. This has lead to former efforts to deteriorate and rot.
The thickness is only 15mm so I doubt if I could take off much ( even if I new how). Also, they need to be fairly flush with remaining fibreglass seating.
Any thoughts on how I could engineer a sloping solution while still having all sides touching the fibreglass ? The grey cells seem to be in a lethargic mood at the moment.
Thanks in advance.
