Evening all,

Has anybody on here ever used the slipway at Harleyford Marina? It's just upriver of the floating restaurant and we are hoping to launch some ribs there between 5.3m and 8.1m (2.5 tonnes) and I'd be keen to hear from anybody with somebody who has actually used it. The jungle drums suggest it's quite shallow.

Thanks in advance!

It's been many many years since I used it. In fact it was when I worked there some 20 years ago !

From memory its shallow and has a ledge so not a true slip.

We launched a largish Shetland that required some significant pulling and shoving with the Estate Range Rover.

But that was a very long while ago !
