Does anyone know where I can get a fitting for holding a table on a 2 1/2" compression post. I had such a device on a Robber 3E and by releasing a lever the table could be raised out of the way to the cabin roof.

If you want to simply raise the table out of the way you could simply make a round bracket to fit over the post and then attach a couple of 'knobs' that engage with the bracket when it is in the right position. The knobs would prevent the table from simply swiveling and would hold it at the right height. Lift it out of the way and have a simple catch at the ceiling height to hold it up. If you want to be fancy you could add bearings or high density plastic slides.
