Oops. It doesn’t actually seem a long enough passage to be falling asleep, wrong medication or suffering from fatigue of some kind without realising?? At least he was drifting and not sailing flat out into one of the towers! Lucky boy.

Depends how rested he was before he set off.

Easy to imagine a scenario where the pressure to meet some sort of departure deadline means little rest in the lead up as the jobs list piles up.
