Been pondering about taking the lines out of the boom to give them a wash and to try and untangle them a bit as they seem to always want to coil and get in a knot when reefing.
Intend to mouse the lines through the boom but how are the lines routed. I have a red/blue/green reefing lines that comes back to clutchs and winchs in cockpit but they have two other ends one that is bow lined to the rear of the boom after it has been through the eye at the back of the sail and another that is attached using a shackle to an eye at the front of the main sail.
I've never seen a bit of rope with 3 ends before /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif assume it is either joined in the middle or this bit of rope is actually two bits....
any advice on getting it out without getting in a mess would be nice /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
