SL400 toilet problems

had an sl400 in the old boat and serviced it. it worked fine but the best way to flush i found was kneeling in front of it and pushing the lever over to open the inlet valve properly. not elegant. however having just helped a friend replace one with a jabsco (after comparing the cost of spares for the sl400 with a new jabsco) we found that the height was a problem. not for the installation but we had to build a plinth for his wife's feet!

they're a bit like marmite - lots of people hate them but i got on fine with mine.

Vidapura (and I suppose anyone else) if you are in the South Hampshire area I have a SL400 bowl and mechanism in the garage, though no joker valve fitting. You're welcome to it if you can arrange to pick it up.

Thanks Ostell,
but am in Galway.. so bit far away from South Hapshire.
Very generous of you though, thanks for offering.
