SL Horizon 500 horizontal windlass problem

Apologies for doble posting but trying to reach as many forumites as possible.

I have one of the above and have an issue in that the gypsy will turn quite freely whithout any power. This means that the anchor can slowly self launch.
I thought there might be some adjustment I could make but nothing seems obvious.

Does anyone know what I need to do to tighten it up so when the anchor is stowed, it stays stowed!

Workshop manual at http://www.lewmar.com/\assets\img\dataset\Manual-Horizon_500.pdf may answer your question. Page 16 shows tightening the clutch nut, would be the cause on many makes but I don't know yours.

Following your link, I ended up dismantling the windlass as that nut was already as tight as it would go.

Turns out there was a bit missing inside

Anyway i'm onto SL spares now and getting the bit ordered so hopefully the problem will be resolved.
