That's what happens when wavelength = waterline. As Little ship says, bin there, done that in a 25 footer - just doesn't need such big seas to achieve same effect!
BTW, I don't think there will be a marina much longer if the island keeps growing like that. It could end up worse than Conway (or was it Deganwy?) marina with the new flap gate.
