During a break from working on Mistral, I was looking at the boat "Skylark" parked next door. The more I looked the weirder it looked. Apart from the anchor there's virtually no metalwork, the cleats, framework on the stern is all handmade from wood. The twin rudder arrangement doesn't have gudgeons & pintles but is lashed on with rope. The cockpit is tiny only big enough for one person. Probably junk rig and I've never known so much freeboard on a boat that size.
I'm hoping someone may know the history or what idea was behind it.
