8pm on Friday night on Discovery Channels ADVENTURE ONE which is number 551 I think, someone please correct me if I am wrong, its the video footage of Alan Priddys Atlantic Crossing.

I have already seen it and its well worth a watch even just to see Alan kiss a dead Cod. Any one who has been to Alans talks will have seen the slides but prob not the footage and it helps to complete the picture.

Go on watch it

Dom, it's on Sky Channel 560 on Friday at 8pm until 8:30pm, and it's called Total Adventure.
Programme info states - Powerboating World: Brit Alan Priddy and his crew attempt to break the world record for cirumnavigating the globe in a powerboat. Pirates, storms and hunger stand in their way.

Very true - amazing how little publicity this seemed to receive outside of Motor boat mags (unless I have forgotten)

Got my wirs slightly crossed as to which one they were showing. This was edited and if I remember correctly was 1hr long when I watched it.

Never the less well done to Discovery Channel for actually covering it and putting it on air.

Amazing job by the rescue services who had to (forgive me if I get this slightly wrong) fly from Canada to Newfoundland to refuel then on to an oil rig to refuel again then onward to pick up Steve so they could take him back to Newfoundland in one run.

If you enjoyed that then pick up a copy of the book which goes into it all in more detail.

I have a copy of the Soltron Atlantic Challenge video which comes after that and is just over an hour long.

Just spoke to Alan seems I am getting confused again and that piece of film is only half hour long. Only way to get all the details is to read the book.

Looks like the Soltron Atlantic Challenge might be coming out on video though.
