Hi,
I'm looking for a patient and reliable skipper who could potentially help our group gain further experience. We're a friendly band of lads and lasses who are planning weekend trips and potentially races in the Solent for 2010. We tend to charter boats from Gosport/Hamble/Port Solent and our experience ranges from Day Skipper, Comp Crew to novices but we'd ideally like to get a skipper with YM or equivalent experience to join us.
Unfortunately this is not a paid position, but nor is any financial contribution required, you'll be well fed and watered plus we'll cover costs for meals ashore etc. Perhaps this might be suitable if you're between yachts or just want to sail with a great bunch of people and have a good laugh?
Alternatively, if you're a boat owner and can accommodate seven well behaved individuals, we'll cover expenses to the same level as charter fees.
