I bought one new with a trailer, but the version with larger bermudan rig and no silly bow rail Fitted self-bailer and toestrap and found it was singlehanded about evens club racing against Enterprises etc. Slower to windward, (really rubbish original sails) but considerably faster offwind. Hull constrction light and pretty flimsy really, but was exactly what I wanted at the time. Towed it on it's trailer with a tent lying in the bottom behind a Ford Anglia. I could pick it up to carry down beach by reaching in and holding the toestrap, saving getting the trailer wheels wet.
Finally got a pay raise and with some back pay and selling the Skipper bought a tiny cruiser.
