Hi Tommy, would love to join you there but we will hopefully be on the way back from Ramsgate that day. Yes, a F4 westerly would suit us lovely too so lets keep the fingers crossed.
I spoke to Steve last week and he told me he hopes to get there with Springtime and there maybe one other boat as well.

That F7..... Wasn't forecast, but built up while we were at anchor waiting to go back into Saltfleet! :eek:

3 boats, 1 with dead engine, 1 with an engine that died on the way in, so 2 made it in under sail!
My engine worked, but as I'd got the deepest draught I touched bottom twice before being lifted 6 feet!
All made it in OK, wet and still smiling. :D

Similar problems at Wainfleet, 2 boats towed in, I got in after the obligatory running aground on my first visit. :D

Great BBQ anyway, wish I'd felt better on the night. :(
