Rule of thumb: Your battery capacity in Ampere hours divided by the number of hours you want to achieve flat to full charging. But be realistic.
So, for example, 200 Ah of batteries are flat when you have taken 100 Ah out of them. 100 Ah replaced in 10 hours (over night) would require a 10 A charger, but as the charge rate is not linear, take the 200 Ah / 10 hours to give a 20 A charger.
Over night is too long for you? So get a bigger charger, a 50 A clever controlled charger might do it in about 4 hours. But is it worth the extra money?
Now duck and run as the charger wars might start /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
On the other hand using Richards 200AH battery half discharged.
If you are willing to have a recharge over a week then something more like a 2 amp charger will be fine. It is all about what you want and how much you wan to spend. olewill
