Size of Westerly porthole seal?

Does anyone know the diameter of the round sponge rubber seal that's fitted in Westerlies rectangular portholes?

Need to make some as Trafalgar's shut for this month.

Cheers, Jim

Dunno about round seals at one time it was square catapult elastic.

However Seals + Direct are the people for all thi s stuff. I'd expect them to know what size you require

Yes, That's the one. I'm just about to reassemble mine
After having them blasted and painted.
In the past I bought the seals from Trafalgar.
My existing one's are now deformed so can't measure them.

If you have some "lying around," you don't have one for sale, do you?
One of mine on my Macwester (same windows) is rather corroded.
Have 5 of them that I got to replace Storyline's but the hole centres were different so have refurbished our existing ones.

However Caroline has kindly agreed (:)) to take them back as they are brand new in packaging so you are welcome to one but I would need nearly list price I am afraid. Hope you understand.

I replaced the one on the port side a couple of years ago as it was in a bit of a state. I bought the replacement from Caroline at Trafalgar.
Now the starboard one is in serious need of replacement as well, and I was going to get one from Caroline anyway.

If you don't mind the faffing about with 2 parcels, you could send me one, and return the other 4 to Caroline.
I'll leave it up to you. I'm quite happy with "nearly list price", but I don't mind it the least if you just want to return all 5.

Yes, no problem, will pm you later today

I bought some from trafalgar, but then made my own with the round section foam from sealsplusdirect. You just cut it to length and superglue the ends together. Works a treat. Use storyline's gauge measurement.

I have one of the seals from Trafalgar that I am about to fit the uncompressed diameter looks to be 10 mm measured with ruler (don't have a vernier on board) and 52 cm long glued to make a ring hope this helps.
