Sir Bob Russel

Bob Russell IS going to re-stand as the Colchester MP at the General Election on 8 June and Douglas Carswell is NOT going to re-stand in Clacton.

Could I just point out that Bob is a Liberal Democrat - the Liberal Party is a pro-Brexit party formed in the wake of the SDP/Liberal merger. Important distinction for politics geeks, and in certain parts of the country! Anyway, if the forum would like some replies to questions from a GE candidate: (Maldon constituency, which in nautical terms is roughly "The bit of land between the Blackwater and the Crouch")

What anchor would Bob recommend? I can't speak for Bob, but we have a Bruce and we haven't had it drag yet. YMMV, particularly if you're not on the East Coast. Of course it's a personal choice and being a Liberal Democrat I would not seek to impose my choice on others. As the preamble to our constitution says, "no one shall be enslaved by conformity".

What burgee and on which spreader, would he wear? RCYC burgee on the starboard spreader. Although I note you specified spreaders, you're excluding anyone wanting to fly their burgees from the masthead?

What are his opinions on AWB's? Well, I own one. I do like the look of wooden boats, but definitely only if they're owned by someone else. Or you can pay someone else to do maintenance, but then what's the point in having a boat?

Wash and Mobos, where does he stand? On top of the coachhouse roof waving a fist at the offender, usually... OK, I'll admit, it's usually the more British approach of muttering quietly into my Pot Noodle.
