Sinking yacht souda

20m British flag yacht sunk while anchored at Vlite souda bay crete. The 74 year old skipper was recovered dead entangled in a rope. Only his dog was saved and taken to the animal rescue at xania. The yacht was anchored in the area many years.

tried to anchor here some years ago about 1995 got chased out by a gun boat the guy on the bow was waving his arms so much I thought he was doing semaphore went off to tie up in channia we were the only boat there whats it like now?
