Sink in bathroom won't fully drain any more

I poured hot water down it to unclog it, that worked, it drains perfectly now except I think the plastic warped and now the drain hole is not level any more, slightly raised. I tried hot water again and some weight on top to press it down but didn't help.

Now I got a mm or so of water stabding every time I use it.

Do I need to install a brand new sink?

If its a bathroom, its a wash basin not a sink.

I am surprised that boiling water would soften a basin to that extent. Even cheap acrylic (Perspex) basins should stand boiling water.

Yeah I was surprised as well but besides hot water there is nothing I did to the basin.

If it was blocked the first time the heat would have stood longer. Pop in the plug and try again
