Singlehanded Mast Climbing - and getting back down

I got a set of these. Brilliant for routine liesurely trips up the mast. Bit more problematical in rough sea emergency type situations but then I wouldn't attempt such an evolution in those conditions on my own.

I also use the defee ladder which I share with a friend - his sliders are mounted on one side and mine on the other side. Excellent piece of kit. I've also never been up in emergency conditions but suspect it's easier than using climbing ropes. We als had the chance to try out the Mastmate webbing type with webbing loops but found them very hard on your feet.
