Singlehanded & Asymmetric spinnaker

If it all gets too hairy and heavy to handle, dump it in the sea and haul it in from there!

Not a good idea IMHO I have twice had to recover a spi over the side both times because the halyard broke from chafe. Each time it took the combined efforts of 4 people to get it back on board and in one case we were very close to giving up and dumping it.

Single handed forget it unless it is flat calm with no sea running. The problem is the boat rolls and keeps dragging it back into the water.

The boat was a 38 foot ketch and a masthead spi.
