Hi,

From what I can see from Google you only get the unit with the pins but no socket nor tiller bracket.

I have a Westerly Pageant so will need the extras I would think (?).

I'm wondering if anyone has purchased one to confirm what's included plus where they got it from. All in this is coming out at £500.00..... gulp.

Many thanks.

I bought mine from A.W.Niemayer, and it came with the items shown, ie an unthreaded ball-end pin for mounting in a wooden tiller and a socket for the mounting pin.

It cost £298.91 in 2019 including delivery to the UK from Germany. It arrived in two days.

You will need a plug and you may need extension rods to fit it to the tiller depending on the measurement on your boat. The unit has to be fitted at 90 degrees to the tiller. There is a range of accessories to make it fit (at a price!) See detail in attached.

First answer may be correct ...

But second regarding NMEA - unless Simrad have updated the TP10 - it never had any way to deal with NMEA .... its a basic Tillerpilot .... to have NMEA - the TP22 and up were the units.
The answers cover all the TP models, as per the listing.

Cactus marine are competitive but also confirm there is no interface connection for the TP 10. If you check the "description" on the Force 4 site they also confirm this. As Refueler says you have to have the TP22 for this. Simrad TP10 Tiller Pilot (TP10)

True.. the extension rods were expensive enough that I cast around for an alternative when I installed my tiller pilot - I went for a length of 4x2 attached to the cockpit coaming on a hinge (so I could fold it out of the way when not using it), and long enough that the TP reached the tiller at the correct distance..
