Simrad/ Robertson autopilot question

Heya folks,
Can anyone suggest me if J300X-40 computer would work with the newer generation control units like AP28. I tried contacting Simrad customer service regarding this to no avail.

I also have a simrad j300??? autopilot . Looking at the spec simrad talk about "new sim net plug and play" which I think is like the NMEA 2000 so I don't think the to are compatible. The old sim net is a 6 wire connection between the computer and the control head.

I am surprised you didnt get an answer. Did you phone the tech advice service? Anyway, I doubt there is any chance of it doing so. The new control will be digital NMEA 2000. The old one is early NMEA 0183 or at least mine is.
