I have a Simrad tiller pilot. The 6 pin cockpit plug needs to be replaced but I can't find a Simrad replacement. Does anyone know if the Raymarine plug is compatible?

What do you run off it? if it is a stand alone unit with no, steer to wind, waypoints, etc. then just use a standard chrome 2 pin plug for pos neg. If you only use 4 of the 6 wires then a standard 4 pin one will do. Obviously you need to change plug & socket but that is relatively simple.
I run my raymarine av100 & my st1000 both off 2 pin plugs as I do not connect to other parts of the system. The autopilots are too unreliable to risk connecting to anything else like chart plotter, gps, wind, etc.

My Navico, which make morphed into Simrad, was supplied with a Bulgin waterproof 6 pin plug and socket. I think Raymarine also use them, or did, for their 1000 & 2000 Tillerpilots. Still available AFAIK.

If that's the end you need. If it's the other end, I just happen to have a new one pre-wired here. It came with my TP, but I'm not using it.

Edit. That link is probably what PaulR meant to post...

My Navico TP30, bought new many years ago, came with a Bulgin 6 pin plug and socket. Two of the pins are used for the remote controller, came with the TP30 in a deal. When I bought a used TP32 as a backup the original plug had been cut off and replaced with something else. I put a Bulgin 6 pin back and all is well, including the remote.
