SIM cards for SMS only

I know this thread is a year old, but I am in a similar position to the OP and need a PAYGo sim card for the Envirotxt device.

I have checked out the links and cannot get anything that seems to offer the same sort of service as the ASDA sim.

Has anyone else found something that does the job?

I found that 1pMobile on EE network are a good replacement for Asda after they moved to the Vodafone network.

Before I saw your post I looked at dutyhogs suggestion and it looked good, so I bought a sim from them. Should arrive tomorrow.

Received my 1penny sim and it works fine. Ideal for the Envirotxt device. £10 until 4th Apr when it will need topped up, which is fine by me.

Here's a factoid about the 1p Mobile SIM. If you decide after the 4 months is up that you don't want to use it for a bit, just let it lapse, and you can reinvigorate the same SIM with the same number later by buying credit on their website. 1p Mobile will send you emails saying it's about to be deactivated permanently, but it pops back to life when you top it up again.
