SILVA Star M298 hand held radio battery charger

I appear to have lost the charger for our Silva Star M298 hand held radio. I have tried to source a replacement - so far unsuccessfully. There was one appeared on E-Bay from a company but although the pictures of the charger unit were very clear for some reason the actual connection point was blurred in every image. I was going to contact the company but in attempting to do so I got locked out of e-bay and by the time I got back in I had lost the relevant page. See getting old !!!!

Can anyone suggest where I can buy such an item? The radio is working fine but needs recharged.

I have an old M-198 somewhere. ISTR the power input to that is plain 12V, they sold a lead to connect straight to vehicle 12V.
Not sure if the 298 is the same?
If so, a universal 12V adaptor would be fine.
There are several people on ebay selling 12V wall wart adaptors as Swiftech m298 chargers.
It's possible that something changed between Swiftech and Silva models of course.

I have a 298 radio. Just checked the voltage at the plug and it’s 12 volts. I’ve got a mains adapter that has a cigar lighter socket for charging the radio at home and it plugs into a socket on the boat.
So all you need is a cigar lighter plug with a correctly sized plug on the opposite end.
