just put it into google shopping. Seems to be £13.33 inc vat and postage, from a UK seller, for 310ml tubes. If you can use 600ml sausages then it is just under £11 per 310ml

saba = similar products to sika. I strongly recommend against Saba deck caulk (having had a whole boat done with it, with awful performance from the stuff. Plenty of people with saba decks have had it all gouged out. Just avoid it imho). Best deck caulk imho is TDS440

Me neither, which is why I asked "what for". Saba is good as a general sealant, is cheaper than Sika and doesn't go off in the tube. I have used it successfully for deck caulking but then I am not in the Med.

I have been researching the difference between Puraflex 40 and Sikaflex 290DC. Mainly due to the huge price differential between these two products. Sikaflex is about 4X the price of Puraflex.
Puraflex is a construction industry brand and sells high volume into a very competitive market. Sikaflex is a marine, predominantly leisure, brand selling to a low volume market, where the expectation is for high cost special materials.
I called Tecnic in Leeds, who make both brands and spoke to their technical help dept. I asked the difference between the two products, the only answer I was given was that one was marine and the other was a construction product. I asked about the chemistry difference between the two? They could not answer this (or did not want to) leading me to believe that there is little if any difference. The Technical data sheets for both products are more or less the same, Puraflex having slightly better elongation properties.
I am about to re-caulk the deck of my 1970.'s motor yacht with Puraflex, Hope I've got it right!
