Silicone sealant

There was a post a wkk or two ago re best sealants to use in a shower etc which will not go mouldy. We have just used a sealant which is guaranteed for 10 years against discolouration or staining due to mould growth.The name is "forever white" and is manufactured by everbuild www.everbuild.co.uk/products. It's about a fiver per tube. I will report back in 10 years time and give my opinion.In the meantime,hope this info.helps .

Never use silicone sealant in bedding in covers/gauges etc in a petrol tank.
The silicone absorbs petrol to become many times its original size.

Be assured that any drips of silicone into the tank will block your outlets.

Good advice..however I don't have a petrol tank in my shower.
