Are silicone foul-release coatings a viable and environmentally sustainable alternative to biocidal antifouling coatings in the Baltic Sea region?
If I have the link correct this is a recent article comparing conventional AF with silicone treatments.
With no disrespect its heavy going - but may be of interest to those with an interest in AF.
I'm not persuaded to consider a silicon coating, yet ....
It is a study in the Baltic and slime appears to be a major issue - keep the vessel moving and slime is less of an issue - but we know that....
