Does anyone know if it possible to buy a solvent to remove old silicone sealant.

Last time I took off some silicon I bought some good stuff in B&Q. Unibond do it, just gone to the tool box to look!

Try acetone, that usually does the trick.

Agreed acetone will do it, but it may also damage whatever the silicone is stuck to.

[boatless]

Breathtakingly simple method used by a top boatbuilder. Get a piece of 2x1 hardwood and you kind of chisel/rub it off. Works a treat and doesn't damage anything.
