Sikaflex 291 is a general purpose adhesive sealant. If you really mean to use Sikaflex for bonding then 292 is the one to use.

Or where two different materials of different thermal values would have to accomodate movement. There are not many instances of that on a boat. Plastic against stone or metal is an example. In that situation you would use Low modulous spec. Two part thioflex is good for that..it does accomodate movement and can be cut out easier and also overpainted.

Aye, and remember sikaflex must not be used on certain plastics, ie, through hull log paddle units, or plastic through hull cockpit drain units, as it can have an adverse effect on these plastics causing sudden failure and whatever else may follow.
