I found these two publications about Sikaflex products for marine applications which i though might be of interest.

Thanks Vic - that's 3 useful downloads from you in the last two days (the other one was the battery voltage chart you linked to yesterday). Not forgetting the navlights wiring diagram the other week as well.
 
Thanks a lot Vic you can really find the info.

A point to note I spoke to sika in johannesburg and their techie told me that any sika product with a 9 in the middle is for marine but 291 is the same product as 221 sold as non marine and 292 is the same as 252 non marine and we all know what adding the word marine to any product does. So we may be able to get the same product cheaper from your local DIY store and not pay the high chandler price.

I note your point about 298 for my application and will check with the man if their is a cheaper equivalent.

Also a point to note is that most car windscreens are fitted with a type of sikaflex and that may be the one to use for fitting windows into our boats.
