I was there on sunday as well on a mooring behind the two power boats! there was a nice amel named bon jovi there, good looking boat!

She is indeed lovely, many a great evening was had aboard last year. They ripped the mizzen on the way back to Kip though unfortunately.

I have never had one come undone. My anchor is attached via a Wichard countersunk shackle to three links of 10 mm chain, then a Kong swivel to 8 mm. The shackle and swivel have been loctited for about the past four seasons, renewed each spring. We anchor most nights for six months each season, so I guess the pins receive some abuse in that period. The one that holds the swivel together is probably most at risk, being a short, fat countersunk screw, but it has never moved.
