Just want to thank David (Solitaire) for providing an hours excellent tuition onboard Evenstar II this afternoon as part of the SIBS On-Water Workshop.....now I know how a twin-engine shaft drive f/b is so much easier to close quarter handle than my single engine Nimbus.....I'm now hooked!! ;)

If anyone is going to the Show over the weekend, I can thoroughly recommend signing-up for this free session.

Thanks again, David, and it was nice to put a face to your name!

It was nice to meet you and thanks for your comments.

Also met David when my son and I visited the show on Wednesday. Had an excellent hour out on the water with first class tuition.

Very impressed with Davids berthing skills in some rather challenging conditions, and with no use of the helm or thruster!

Best wishes
Ian

I also met David for thei first time this afternoon, and a pleasure it was sir. I also met Elessar's business partner and the co owner of Evanstar 4' good to meet you too sir.

Evanstar looks fantastic, better in the flesh than the pics on here. Her hull is in gorgeous shape, and the mods to date all look great. I love the new leather interior. I understand Mark is not happy, but it looks a million $ to me. I hope for something similar in Rafiki soon.
I was also introduced to Powerskippers pink lifebelt cover! Great to catch up with the odd forumite! ;)
