Shrink wrap cover

Our yacht is presently 'summering' in Trinidad awaiting our return to it in Nov. As this is the wet season there we arranged to have the boat covered (but not totally wrapped) with a shrink plastic. This is a white plastic sheeting that is taped over white plastic electrical conduit piping and then heated - thus causing a sort of tent over the whole deck and around the mast, shrouds etc. It seems to be very effective at keeping rain, dirt and heat off the decks.
We thought that people here in UK might be interested in using a similar system during the winter months. (We have an additional winter problem here in NI - starlings by the hundred (even thousand) gather every evening on yachts' rigging with the inevitable results below them!).
Does anyone know of a firm that provides such a service? And can anyone tell me what name the type of strong white shrinkable plastic goes under?

I saw a shrink-wrapped boat at Falmouth Marina. Next time I go there, I will try to find out any details. Perhaps someone from Falmouth will read this and get some details for you, before I can get there.

You may think you have problems. I spoke to a Contessa 32 owner in Bergen who had got his boat cheap after it had sunk at its mooring. The boat was covered and moored over winter in Tromso (Northern Norway). The "big snow" had broken down the covering and the snow load had depressed the boat so much that the water came up through the cockpit drains and eventually flooded the boat. I like the idea of shrink wrapping nevertheless.
