Shower Pump Problem

Thanks all.

I took the pump apart again and gave it and the inline strainer another good clean, so will see how that goes. If no joy then it looks like a new pump is on the cards.

Problem now solved.

After a second clean of the pump and strainer, still no joy. Lots of noise, but nothing pumping without priming the pump. Given that the pump is 26 years old, I bit the bullet and splashed out on a new one, and now all is right again in my showering world.

Will probably try and get a service kit for the old one and keep it as a back up.
