Cracking shot that Jimbo!

All her own work. As you can see I am supervising from the bow. If you look v closely you can see that I do in fact have a beer in my hand, so I'm doing something, at least...

It really was as pretty as it looks. Iirc there were only four other boats in the anchorage, and the water was as clear as glass, amazing. 34C, from memory. (That's the temperature, for you rowdy lot at the back)

This is where we were:

I'm sure it was!
Lovely pics and boat J, but I hope you don't mind if I'd suggest to fit a swivelling base under the two antennas, in order to make them vertical.
Having them pointing outward looks weird imho, though of course it's just an aesthetic matter, and as such not important at all.
Actually, also the functionality might be slightly affected, at least in theory, but that's trivial.

Bet he tooks hours setting that rakish look :)

Actually, I've seen various boats whose factory installed antennas had no swivelling base, hence simply following the arch curvature.
Otoh, if that's a purposedly studied installation, JTB can just forget my suggestion, of course! :)

Now, why am I sensing that you actually like your antennas as they are? :D
I did say that you can forget my suggestion, after all......

:D:D Tee-hee, I don't know if you remember this - but in fact you're made this precise observation before about my boat, years ago. You obviously have a 'thing' for properly upright aerials!

In fact they are already on adjustable bases, but the (toothed) adjusters don't allow the aerials to be set perfectly vertically, annoyingly. The answer is to pack the outboard side of each base fixing to fine-tune the vertical angle, and then seal round the whole assembly. Truth is, it's just not high enough on the to-do list to actually get done .

Doh! I did have a funny feeling to have mentioned that already, just didn't remember it was your boat.....
...I hope I didn't pretend it was important also back then! :)

That is rubbish, I can see a cloud..... says the jealous bloke from Essex.....
If truth be told john, we med boaters are hiding a secret that the med weather has been exceptionally cloudy. Check out pic below- jimmy and I were flying in formation on what could have been a fantastic day swimming, drinking and lounging around but it was totally wrecked by yet another sodding cloud...
