Thanks - that looks like it has an annoying feature that most seem to have - PTT - the whole reason for using a headset is to be handsfree.

Our phones are iPhones, but we do have an Android tablet on board (and a rasp pi) so solutions that would allow two Bluetooth headsets to talk to each other without needing phone/internet signal and which once turned on allow handsfree conversation are still sought. I don’t mind paying a few quid for an app that works but dont want a monthly subscription which most of the top rated motorbike apps seem to have.

I wonder if Mrs Wandsworth's deafness is similar to that of my wife's.

If I shout at her she doesn't hear but if I mutter something under my breath, she hears it perfectly.
